Back at the very beginning of june jensen and i went to san diego with jensen's family and had a blast. We went to a padre's game, sea world, the zoo, and well of course the beach. We stayed in a beach condo for a week. Jensen would wake me up every morning to go for a walk on the beach (early in the morning We found a couple Tide pools and i loved sitting there and watching the fish and plants. I loved watching the sunset over the water, watching the sea lions do their thing, hanging out with the family. It was a great trip to take before amanda left on her mission. We went to the san diego temple which was amazing, that temple is beyond words. THe time that we had decided to go they where doing some cleaning on the outside of the temple so they had construction going on the outside all the windows where covered up, i kept telling jensen that we should get married there cause i thought it would be awesome to have the construction in pic...(i know weird) The rest of june passed pretty quickly i cant really remember anything else going on that we did.
For July 4 we went to park city with jensen family this year and did the park city thing. Jensen and the boys went mountain biking and had a blast. Jens came back with more cuts, blood, bruises, dirt, sweat and anything else you could think of then i've ever seen, he keeps telling me that he has a new hobby, I still think basketball wins. We had a good weekend swimming, hanging out with family, playing games and of course shopping at the outlets. :) We also had Amanda leave for her mission to Brazil, she flew out to the MTC in brazil and then will go straight to the field from there. She will be missed and its gonna be weird going to jensen house and not having her there but she is meant to be out there so i guess we will all deal.
We got to go home for longhorn days which i love being able to do. We went up and watched the parade and got loads of candy, the good thing about having so many neices and nephews is i could just sit there and have them fetch me candy. i'm such a mean aunt :) jensen says that you have to wear a hard hat while watching altamont fireworks and its like being in a war zone. We Finally got to have a baby shower too and i feel alot better about not being prepared. lol. I got alot of stuff i wouldn't have even thought of and tons of cute outfits. Baby Boy P got his first basketball outfit w. shoes which jensen loves. (obviously) I love the baby carhart coveralls he got and cowboy boots. My sisters did an amazing job at throwing this shower and i couldn't thank them enough for it. I love you guys and couldn't thank you enough. It was a great shower and i'm so excited to finally have atleast some stuff for him.
Baby Boy P and I are doing great, he is starting to kick ALOT and i can sure feel all of them. Its weird for me too cause i can sit and watch my tummy move and ripple everytime he kicks me. I love feeling him kick but i can help but think of breaking dawn and thats when it freaks me out. (yes i just related my pregnancy to twilight, dont worrie its not the first time) Dont ask for any prego pics cause i havn't taken any and prolly wont ever take any. :) I am now 27 weeks pregnant and after my next appointment i will be to the every 2 week appointment stage. Latly the Baby P has decided that he doesn't like the taste of hamburger meat, everything about it seems to get to me, watching it cook, the smell, the taste, so instead of trying to force him to eat it i have given it up, i'm now a chicken kind of girl so if you have any good recipes dont be shy. :)
I guess i just wrote a novel instead of an update. I'll try and do better. We are doing good waiting for school to start our summer is slowly coming to an end and i wish i had more of it to do what we need but i'm ready for the heat to go away. :) i will try to do better at posting coming up but dont hold me to it. xoxo
