30 day blog challenge

As i was blog stalking a few choice blogs someone was doing this 30 day challenge and well i thought why not i have nothing better to do. So here is day 1 of the blog challenge.

What have i gotten myself in to. OH NO!!!

Mommy, dont make me do this.

I swear that is what jaxson was trying to tell me today when we walked into his doc appointment today. When jaxson was about 4 weeks old i noticed a little bubble (if you will) on...his "manhood"...and so i called the doc office in a panic not knowing what it was. Turned out that the little bubble was actually just extra skin that didn't get cliped the first time around he told us to just keep an eye on it and then at his 2 month well check up we will see if he needed to clip it off or not. His 2 month appointment came around and as the doc was checking out...his "manhood" he said it just didn't look right and wasn't even with the other side and it probably would be best to just get it taken care of before he got much older so once again another appt had to be made and a week later we would be right back.
Jaxson woke up this morning perfectly happy and he was smiling and laughing when i got him out of his crib this morning not knowing what would happen that exact morning. We did our normal morning routine diaper, bottle, regis and kelly and some tummy time while mommy got ready. Then off to the doc once again we go. He is such a good kid at the doc he will smile at the nurses and never really fusses or anything when they are poking and proding but today i think he had every right to throw a full out tantrum.
I kept telling jensen that if anyone was going to leave the room it was going to be me cause i didn't even wanna know what was going on. The nurse came in and started straping him down to the table and VROOM out the door went jensen and i dont know what came over me i just couldn't do it, i dont know if i was just curious, didn't want to leave my boy in the hands of strangers, or the fact i didn't want to seem like a wimp but i stayed the entire procedure...and it was awful.
Jaxson was doing just fine he didn't try or even fuss when they where straping him down to the table but the minute the doc started the numb up the site all hell broke loose. I have never heard my boy (or any baby for that fact) cry and scream as bad as he did. I thought it really would bother me more then it did but i think i saw more blood pulling a tooth at dr danleys then i did here it was just on a 12 week old.
Poor guy has slept sense we got home and i dont even dare get him out of the carseat to move him, he is a big trooper today and i think i will give him what ever he wants today....why yes jaxson i will hold you non stop today if it will make you feel better. I'm such a sucker mom.

winter storm 2010

While i was in ALtamont for the week before christmas we got hit hard by the winter storm of 2010. During the middle of the 1st day i went out and measured 21 inches of snow fall it was crazy. My mom and i where literally snowed in the house and couldn't get out, her car got stuck pulling out of their garage it was insane. They also canceled school that day, i went to school in altamont for 12 years and not once did we ever get a snow day and my nephew tyson has had 2 and he is in 6th grade. I thought it was rather perfect that it snowed cause we all got to be with eachother, the power would go out and all the brothers and sisters would come over cause their house would get cold and my moms fire place was the only source of heat. I thought it was alot of fun. kloe sure loved the snow too we couldn't get her to come back in side. it was funny cause she would have to jump out of the snow to get anywhere.

blessing day

The sunday after christmas we where able to bless jaxson in my home ward back in Altamont. It was a great day and we had alot of family there and it was so nice to be able to do back home.


I loved his little outfit i think he looks like a little man.

Jaxson was able to have his great grandpa prestwich there.

Poor jensen woke up that morning sicker then a dog. He was actually complaining to me which he has never done sense we have been married so i could tell he was really sick. He took it like a champ though and made it through the blessing. poor guy.
