First marriage year....

So in little more then 1 week i will be celebrating my one year anniversary. Its so crazy to me that its only been a year, sometimes i look back and it feels like its been forever and then i really think about it and i cant remember where my year went. So i've learned a couple things in our first year of marriage and i really can honestly say i know why they call it the hardest year of the marriage. (haha)

Top 5 things i love about jensen
1. He try's to come up with different words to famous songs, and it always has something to do with what we are doing.
2. Secretly deep down inside of him i know his a country boy
just waiting to be set free, the reason i know this is cause
every time we are in altamont, he is just so relaxed.
3. I never hear him complain about any of my cooking even if its bad, he eats it all and even asks for seconds.
4. He usually will have lunch ready for me when i come home
from work, his really really good at mac and cheese
5. He works really hard to get through school and get his
education. He works extra hours at a job he hates to
make sure he supports his family.

Top 5 reasons marriage ROCKS!!!!
1. I don't have to wear make up if i dont feel like it.
2.When i watch a scary movie, i dont have to sleep alone.
3. I never have to go shopping alone.
4.I dont have to DATE!!!
5. I have adopted an awesome 2nd family

Ok so now that i have you all talked into getting married and what not. I want to tell you about what we are doing for our anniversary. Its 100% finalized and not refundable but if in case of a emergency you can switch the dates. :) ok so on March 7th we are headed down to the great city of LAS VEGAS! We are headed down friday night to stay in mesquite (sp) then headed the rest of the way on saturday morning. We check into our hotel at around 3:00. I'm excited about where we are staying is because its prolly my favorite one in vegas...and yes the only reason is because its all done up in egyption.

Ok now i'm super excited about that nights activity. Let me give you a little back ground first, MY sister lexi got obsessed with phantom of the opera when the movie came out, and i mean obsessed...her dvd now skips she has watched it so much. Well when i lived with here while i was going to school at USU it was right in the middle of her obsession so naturally i got addicted. Well i never thought i would ever talk jensen into going to the show in vegas, but i sure had to try and well guess what....We are going to phantom of the opera, the las vegas spectacular. we have really good seats too...down in the golden circle. Oh i'm excited so expect lots of pictures being posted when its all over.

Our new favorite past time

So this past weekend i have discovered what jensen loves to do and can't get enough of

We went home to Altamont for my aunt kathy's funeral which was really hard to go
through, i feel bad for jensen cause he has had to see me during to of my
family's funerals, he is really a good trooper about it and is always
there for me, gotta love my hubby for that reason.

My sister cassidy is building a house over in boneta and we went over saturday

to check it out, well there is alot of cedars out where they live and by the
river bottom, so of course we had to go four wheeling, i have found
jensen's favorite past time, we do this every time we go home.










this is our wonderful convy of four wheelers going up the trail. Tyson got a small one thats big enough for him to drive legal and its funny watching him cause we had to keep an eye on him so he didn't go CRAZY.

SUPER BOWL PARTY!

Ok this year for the super bowl we went over to our friends pete and cody's house and watched it over there. It actually was pretty sweet, they had this projecter set up and pluged in and so we just watched the game on the projecter they projected up to there wall....so it was huge. They also have those really comfy love sac bean bags to sit on, they have like 4 of them. Jensen volunteered me to cook the dinner for everyone and so sunday morning i woke up and started making meatballs and rice...(which if anyone has had these know how amazing they really are) they were a huge hit at the party and everyone loved them, they all brought there own thing to it and we just hung out and watched the super bowl....oh and of course they boys had to get there own football game going out in the middle of the road. it was alot of fun this year, kind of weird cause jensen and i were the only married couple there with all the single college students but it was fun.
